SET Finance

SET Finance is a mortgage and finance broker serving Kangaroo Point and the inner east Brisbane suburbs, working from an office on Eagle Street in the CBD. Paul, the broker behind the business, has spent more than twelve years structuring finance for business owners, self-employed professionals and investors.

The focus is lending that does not fit a standard bank application. That covers home loans assessed on trust distributions or variable business income, SMSF property finance through limited recourse borrowing arrangements, business and working capital facilities, commercial and industrial property loans, and equipment finance for trade businesses.

SET Finance works across a panel of more than forty lenders, including the major banks alongside non-bank and specialist lenders. Before recommending a structure, the broker coordinates directly with a client's accountant and financial planner so the loan sits properly against their tax position and business setup. Refinancing reviews are run annually rather than only when a client thinks to ask. Initial strategy calls are free and run about thirty minutes.
